BSC Gabon (Waiver) – Procedure and Regulations

BSC (Bordereau de Suivi de Cargaison – Gabon)
Also operationally known as: BIETC (Borderau d’Identification Électronique de Traçabilité des Cargaisons)
📄 Document type
It is a mandatory certificate for all cargo destined for Gabon.
👉 The document is obtained by validating the Waiver:

Waiver validated = BSC / BIETC issued
📌 Special feature:

✔️ The number must appear on the Bill of Lading (B/L)
👤 Who should process it?

The exporter (shipper) or his agent/freight forward
-
With information about the exporter and importer in Gabon
👉 Responsibility:

Falls on the shipper

It is recommended to process it at origin

🕒 Deadlines

Must be managed before the vessel’s departure
