This certificate is required for all cargo destined for Angola. The CNCA must be processed before shipment, and its number must appear on the BL (bill of lading).

📌 Who should process the CNCA?
The exporter or his agent/freight forwarder, with information provided by the exporter.

📑 Documents required to obtain the CNCA Angola:

  • BL (Bill of Lading) – draft or definitive

  • Commercial invoice

  • Packing List

  • Certificate of origin (if applicable)

  • Importer’s data in Angola (including VAT number)

  • Shipment authorization (according to product or sector)

What happens if you do not process the CNCA?

  • Cargo may be detained at the port of Luanda.

  • Fines and surcharges

  • Significant delivery delays

🕒 When should it be processed?

It must be arranged before the vessel departs, as the CNCA number must be on the bill of lading.

🧾 Where to process it:
Through agents authorized by the National Shippers’ Council of Angola, both in Angola and abroad.
